Dilated Theatre's educational package includes:

·         A one-hour lesson plan to use in class prior to attendance;

·         A supplementary student PDF with reference materials on the background of the playwright, the context of WW1 and military law, introduction to the characters and explorations of the show’s design (set, costume, props, lighting);

·         A PDF copy of the script; and

·         A post-show Q-&-A Session with the cast*.

The package can function as a general trip for your students or as a specific study for your Literature, History or Performing Arts classes, across ages 13-19.

Themes of the play include: justice; morality; religion; classism; and mental health. These are placed in the wider historical context of an event which changed Europe and redefined British identity; and the play explores the politics and tragedy of war.

Dilated Theatre will be able to tailor the educational resources to the age group and subject studied by your class upon request.

Educational ticket prices are £16 with 1 in every 10 tickets free.
